Central African Republic
The Central African Republic is situated in the heart of Africa and has beautiful forests to boast about.
However travelers are dissuaded from entering the nation doe to high security threats due to political unrest and rebel activity.
The Central African Republic (CAR) is the place to go if you want to see pristine forests and escape the crush of tourists in other more popular places. As the name implies, the Central African Republic is in the heart of Africa bordered by Chad, Sudan, Zaire, Congo and Cameroon. Tourists are advised to visit CAR from November to April when the rainy season has not yet started because flashfloods are common during rainy season.
Although CAR is a beautiful place to travel due to security reasons travelers are advised to think twice before going on a trip to the area especially if the trip will take them anywhere near the border of Sudan, Chad and Cameroon. These borders are controlled by bandits and pose a serious security threat to any traveler.
